The Kentucky Public Radio statewide newsroom produces, coordinates, and distributes news with statewide relevance across four Kentucky public radio stations. With three dedicated reporters and access to the stories from all four stations, the Kentucky Public Radio network increases access to statewide news for people across the state. Members of Kentucky Public Radio include WKMS in Murray, Louisville Public Media, WKU Public Radio in Bowling Green and WEKU in Richmond. All Kentucky Public Radio member stations are members of the Appalachia + Mid-South Newsroom.
Appalachia News Exchange is a news distribution exchanges that promotes the distribution of news between local newspapers, digital newsrooms, and radio to increase the local, regional, and national news available to readers and listeners. The Appalachia News Exchange is led by the Appalachia + Mid-South Newsroom.
